June 2023 Writing Series

I gave myself a challenge to write every day in June. A big task considering I wrote only six blog posts in 2022. I admit it has not been as easy as I thought it would be. I made the assumption that I would have plenty of time to write each day. Reality kicked in by June 5th, and I reverted to old blogging habits, as in the early days of blogging (2009) when I would wait for my children to fall asleep and then steal off into my study to write. The difference today is I am now waiting for Mr. H and Tani to fall asleep before I open my laptop in the darkness of the night. I love that time of day when you know you are unreachable; for me, it is the evening. Did I mention I am a night owl? I may have in one of the 25 blog posts I have written so far.

I am in the home stretch, a day or two behind, but that’s ok. I will catch up.

Best of all, I will write myself into a family reunion starting July 1st. So many exciting days to unfold…

Thank you for reading along!
