For the Love of Books
I love talking about books. I read in and out of genres and will happily read from print, e-books and listen to audio books. In our expat years, while living in Auckland, New Zealand, I ordered used-books by post. From my writing desk, I looked out to a wooden postbox tucked between towering brilliant green boxwood hedges along the perimeter of our property. I loved the days when the postman slipped a bundle of book wrapped in brown paper into our postbox. To remember those expat days and the books that filled our bookshelf, I started The Brown Paper Book Club, a place to read and share books with book-loving friends.
